Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 22, 2026

At ProxyMaster, we prioritize your privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we handle configurations and credentials inside the ProxyMaster browser extension (the “Extension”). We operate on a zero-tracking model where your data remains exclusively under your direct control.

1. Information Stored Locally

All proxy servers, usernames, passwords, configurations, and tab-routing rules you enter are saved locally on your computer inside the secure Extension sandbox using Chrome’s extension storage API. We do not store this information on external databases or servers.

2. Zero Traffic Logging

ProxyMaster does not inspect, collect, or store websites you visit or data you transmit. The extension configures your browser's proxy settings using native APIs. Requests are routed directly from your browser to your designated proxy hosts, bypassing our infrastructure entirely.

3. WebRTC Shield

The WebRTC protection features operate locally on your device by blocking specific network discovery calls that could leak your local or public IP. No data from blocked WebRTC calls is collected or transmitted outside your local browser environment.

4. Third-Party Services

When you add custom proxy servers to the Extension, your internet traffic is routed through those specific third-party providers. The privacy guidelines and data collection policies of those providers govern the transit of your web data. We recommend reviewing the policies of your proxy network providers.

5. Extension Permissions

To enable dynamic PAC routing rules and block WebRTC leaks, the Extension requests browser permission options for "proxy" and "storage". These permissions are only used to manage connection routes and save your target rules on your machine.
